Frequently Asked Questions

What is microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique that gives the illusion of natural brow hair.

How long does it last?

The average time is 1.5-2 years.

Does it hurt?

There is only a minor discomfort. However, I use two forms of topical numbing cream to keep my clients comfortable. Most feel nothing more than a cat scratch.

How long does it take?

From start to finish the process takes approximately 2 hours.

What can I expect before/after?

The healing time takes 2 weeks in which your brows will go through different stages including scabbing, flaking, and changes in pigment. This is all natural and expected.

The follow up appointment is where the magic happens and will give you your final look/result.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

It is very important to discontinue any blood thinners 2 weeks prior to your appointment. This includes Motrin/Advil and fish oil. No caffeine 24 hours prior to appointment. Medications and caffeine increase bleeding and will affect the result of your brows.
